Footnotes The Metropolitan Museum of Art has established a memorial fund for the acquisition of works by the street photographer Helen Levitt, who died in March, The Associated Press reported. The Met said that the Helen Levitt Memorial Fund had been created through a planned gift from Kathy Levitt, the photographer’s sister-in-law, who has promised a gift of 12 photographs.
